I would kick off combo hunting in 2022 with AEW. This would also be my first time doing airports and hotels for AEW tours. First up, I start with the airport. I found a handful of flights so I would go there for those and also to see what else I find.
First up, the Big Show. He was cool. Got him on the inside cover of the WCW book, WWE_E V4, and a trading card. Wasn't going to ask him for a photo op as I had a few of those already, but someone else asked and he removed the mask, so I thought why not get another shot. This marks my first full combo of 2022.
Next up, Sting flew in. He did one per I got him on a WCW magazine. Then Wardlow who was super cool and removed the mask. This marks my first fresh photo op of 2022.
Sadly it began to go downhill from here. I had both Adam Cole and Britt Baker on one flight. I have Adam but wanted Britt. They did a dual shot but wouldn't remove the mask. What a PUNCH. They signed and I got them on 8x10s. I even went outside to plead some more but she still didn't remove the mask.
Saw more people throughout, some removed the mask some didn't (you can see all in the photo op list). Charlotte Flair also flew in, not sure why. I got her on the WWE_E V4.
Besides those also saw Jerry Lynn and Chris Jericho, got them both on the WWE_E V4. Sadly Jericho went on the wrong page and started to sign over Christy Hemme before I freak out and could stop him. He then goes "sorry, I'm sure Christy Hemme won't mind". Also saw Taz but he refused to sign due to covid. And MJF was his usual asshole self.

Next day, go to the venue after the show. I see Captain Shawn and get the op. Then go to the hotel. There I would get Anna Jay with no mask (she refused to remove the mask at the airport). And I get Tony Khan who was nice. Sadly Britt Baker, no mask and all, refused to do anything at the hotel. Also improve my John Silver op from the airport, get an upgrade with Santana, among other things. I also got Ruby Soho on the WWE_V4. She even asked if I wanted Ruby Soho or Ruby Riott.
Day 3 of going for AEW was a good one. Got lots of names no mask. Matt Hardy, Red Velvet, Mark Henry, and others went on a van to go to a charity. Security said they needed to get in the van so I had to wait for the return. While waiting got quite a few people (you can see them in the full list). The only mask shot was Orange Cassidy who I have. Taz's son Hook who did not take the mask off at the airport did no mask shots no issue.
Austin Gunn remembered me from Wrestlecade last November and took a photo with me. He goes "is your camera working now" (the lighting was bad where they were vending). Rocky Romero was super nice and removed the mask. The next day after I got the shot he tested positive for COVID and had to be removed from his match! Thankfully a week later I have no symptoms. So I essentially looked COVID in the face and survived unscathed.
When the van returned I got Matt Hardy to sign some cards and I got a Red Velvet photo op.
CM Punk completely ignored and kept walking when I asked. Jade Cargill kept declining and towards the end she said "come tomorrow I'll get you".

And finally I had to come back and see if Jade would keep her word. Saw Chris Jericho and got an update after more than 10 years. I tell him "my first photo with you in 10 years" and he goes "thank you".
At one point I saw a car with her family but she wasn't in it. Would have asked her husband but was waiting for her to come out and by the time I figured out she wasn't there he was in the hotel. Eventually she came in a bus and kept her word.
